This shotgun design from GiRSAN has been run through a battery of torture tests that many much more expensive shotguns would fail in epic fashion, but the MC312 not only passed, it excelled.

The MC312 will operate perfectly when mixing and matching any combination of loads in the mag tube from hot 3-1/2″ shells to light 2-3/4″ target loads. Most semi-auto shotguns struggle to keep up when cycling drastically different loads, but the MC312 is unaffected.

The abuse began with 700 rounds of mixed loads in continuous shooting and no time for the barrel to cool or the gun to recover. It performed without a hiccup. Unabated, it ate 5000 rounds without cleaning and continued to function flawlessly.

Then 10000 rounds without any parts replacements or malfunctions. Finally, 5 guns were completely disassembled, the parts were mixed up in a box, and they were randomly reassembled.
